MONOTYPE

A monotype is made by applying paint or ink to a flat sheet of metal, glass, or plastic.

The painted image is transferred to paper either by manually rubbing or using a press.

COLLAGRAPH

A collagraph is made by glueing different materials to cardboard. The surfaces that are higher and smoother rub off, and stay on surfaces that hold more ink.

DRYPOINT

Drypoint is a printmaking process in which a design is drawn on a plate with a sharp, pointed needle-like instrument.
